School Newsletter April 2016

Dear Parents / Carers,

Sponsored Skip

We would like to say a big thank you for all the money that you raised for Comic Relief. We are delighted to announce that a massive £926.65 was donated. Well done to everyone who took part and brought in their sponsor money.

St. George’s Day Shields

Well done to all the children who made their shields for St. George’s day. All the children have put a lot of time and effort into making them. We would therefore like to invite parents into school to see them all displayed in the hall after school on Wednesday 27th April.

Please ensure that your child’s P.E. kit remains in school during term time. We have a lot of children who are unable to take part in P.E. lessons as they do not have their P.E. kit in school.

Please check that all items of your child’s uniform are clearly marked with your child’s name as we have several items in our Lost Property box which we are unable to return to their owner.

We would like to remind you that children are not allowed to wear nail varnish to school. Please ensure that it is always removed before school.

May we also remind you that all children are required to wear plain black shoes which are suitable for school. If for any reason your child needs to wear trainers to school then they must bring a letter in to their teacher with an explanation.

Money In School

Please ensure that your child does not bring large sums of money into school. We have recently had money found in school which has not been claimed. Children do not need to bring more than £1 into school if they wish to purchase snacks at break time or a drink at lunchtime.

With very best wishes

Yours sincerely

Mrs M Shipton
