The winning design will be placed on a giant star, which will also be included as part of the shopping centre’s decorations. The winner of the People’s Choice Award will be invited with a group from their school to view the Star and celebrate by singing Christmas carols and receive a £100 cheque for their school.

The girls’ football team played in the second round of the Havering football cup against James Oglethorpe Primary School. They all played exceptionally well and showed great determination throughout the game. The team are now through to the next round of the cup! Well done girls! Thank you to Mr Foley for all of his support.

The school netball team played against La Salette Primary in their first match. They played well as a team and ended up winning both matches. They are looking forward to playing Oakfields in their next match. It is a home game so hopefully the team will have plenty of supporters to cheer them on!

Pupils this week also took part in the indoor athletics event at Hornchurch Sports Centre. Our Year 5 and 6 team did really well, particularly in the running events. Well done team Squirrels! We wish pupils in Years 3 and 4 good luck as they take part in their events later in the week.
