Dear Parents/Carers,

Thank you to everyone who kindly donated food for our Harvest celebration this year. All donations have now been taken to Harold Hill Food Bank for distribution.

Thank you also to all Year 3 parents and family members who attended our Year 3 Harvest assembly. It was lovely to see so many people take the time to come along to the performance.

We will be selling poppies in school from Thursday 1st November onwards. Children may bring in their donations to purchase a poppy up until Friday 9th November.

P.E. Kit

We are still experiencing problems There are a number of children who do not have a P.E. kit in school. We have a very limited amount of spare P.E. kit in school to loan to children. Please therefore ensure that your child always has the following items in school so that they do not have to miss their P.E. lessons:

Leotard or T-shirt (white) and red shorts.

T-shirt (white) and red shorts.

Black Plimsoles.

Parents Evening

We would like to remind you that our Autumn Term Parents’ Evening meetings are taking place on Tuesday 6th and Thursday 8th November. If you have not yet returned your request slip please return it to your child’s class teacher as soon as possible.

Health Concerns

The school nurse will be hosting a drop in session in school on 13th November at 9am. The nurse can offer advice about any health concerns related to your child as well as provide information about local services and support available. If you would like to meet with her, please sign in at the school office.

The Infant school is also offering an opportunity for parents to seek advice and support about bedwetting on Tuesday 20th November at 9am. If any Junior parents are interested in attending please make the Infant school office aware.

We would like to express our thanks to FOSH for funding the purchase of our new netball posts and netball skirts. The children appreciate the support very much and can’t wait to wear their lovely new kit.

Suggestion Box

We have installed a new Suggestion Box, in the foyer, for parents/carers to post any ideas that they would like to put forward to improve the work that we do.  Please feel free to let us know your thoughts.
