Dear Parents,

House Point Winners

Our winning house this half term is Nelson and so children in Nelson are invited to come to school in non uniform on Monday the 2nd of November. Children in other houses must come to school in school uniform. Well done team Nelson for working so hard this half term!!

Bake Off

The FOSH team are helping us to organise a Junior Bake Off on Wednesday 4th November. Children are invited to bake and decorate cakes based on an Autumn theme. Entries cost 50p and winners will be chosen in each category. There will be a cake sale in the school hall after school on the day and the money raised will be used to purchase new reading books for the school. As always your support would be greatly appreciated.

Harvest Assembly

On Friday the 6th of November, Fr Hingley will be joining us for a special Harvest Assembly. We will be collecting cans and dried goods for a local food bank. Donations would be gratefully received.

Parking

We would like to remind parents to consider our local residents when parking in Salisbury Road. We have recently received complaints from our neighbours as parents are parking over their drives.

INSET Day

Thank you for your continued support this half term. Just a reminder that school will be closed for pupils tomorrow as it is a training day for teachers. We look forward to welcoming the children back to school on Monday 2nd November.

On behalf of the staff, I would like to wish you all a restful half term.

With all good wishes,

Mrs M Shipton

Headteacher
